In 2005 the Bollywood movie ‘Anniyan’ was released which became popular among the audiences. The movie was inspired by Sidney Sheldon’s novel ‘The Stranger in the Mirror’. The novel which was made into a movie was also based on the MDP.In Hollywood, Nicholas Cage’s movie ‘Adaption’ in 2002 was also based on MDP. The movie became so popular that the movie it was dubbed in French and Hindi languages. The movie also went on to win many prestigious awards. The movie ‘Shelter’ released in 2010 was also based on MDP.In 2008, it was discovered that the pop star Britney Spears, also has dual personality and her dual personality was of a British girl. Whenever Britney used to meet a British person, she transformed into a completely different person and Britney even used to be unaware of where she was.
