(Web Desk) – Indian actor Mukesh Rishi who played the evil embodiment in this year’s leading Ramlila performance in New Delhi at the Red Fort Grounds was ticketed INR 100 over a helmet objection, NDTV reported on Saturday.


Rishi who has played a number of villains in Hindi and Telugu films among other regional cinemas of India, played Ravana this year in Red Fort’s leading Ramlila which is attended by the premier among other dignitaries every year.
As part of the Dussehra celebrations, Rishi rode a Harley Davidson on Delhi roads and a video of him riding around Rashtrapati Bhavan (presidential residence) went viral prompting traffic authorities to take notice of his crown that he mistook for a helmet .
Conclusively, the helmet that the ‘Ravana’ wore did not qualify as one and was served a INR 100 ticket.
Reportedly, the actor reached a New Delhi traffic police station and paid the fine. He asserted that what the act accomplished was the message that no one was above the law.
Dussehra is one of the major festivals of Hindu faith which is celebrated every year at the end of Navratri and Ramlila performances over a Hindu epic known as Ramayana are performed.
