Summary Filmmakers are seriously struggling for restoration of the film industry, said Syed Noor.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Chairman Film Producers Association Syed Noor has pledged to lead Pakistani film industry on the path to success.
Syed Noor said that several filmmakers including him are seriously struggling for restoration of the film industry. He said those criticizing them will soon get disappointed.
He added that Pakistani films are not giving profit due to financial issues whereas if such films will be put on display in cinemas for longer time, they will surely give positive outcomes.
Syed Noor said that 29 films had been produced in Karachi and Lahore last year which was a good sign for the local film industry. He said that he had been asking people in past years about the turning around of local film industry and the prediction was turning into reality.
He appreciated the Punjab government for inviting applications from aged artists to grant them monthly scholarship.
