MUMBAI (Daily Dunya) – Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has revealed of being sexually harassed in a young age.
Talking at ‘Women self-defense graduation ceremony’, Parineeti said that she used to go to her school on bicycle as her family couldn’t afford a car in those days. “On the way to school, boys tried to walk closer to me and harass me. Some of them even tried to grope my skirt and pull it off,” she told.
The ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ actress said that she used to hate her parents for making her go on bicycle, but her father told that it will make her strong and sturdy.
“I didn’t understand my father then, but now I know why he did that to me. It was for my own good,” she said.
Parineeti is currently gearing up for upcoming film ‘Golmaal 3’.
