KARACHI (Dunya News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Saturday expressed that the prime minister wants to revive the film industry.
She let it be known while talking to media alongside Karachi governor Zubair Umer.
The federal minister revealed that as many as 30 movies were produced between 2007 and 2017 and every effort would be made to revive the film industry.
Marriyam also revealed at the occasion that the government would provide any kind of support to the film industry when it comes to importing the modern instruments.
She went on to say that soon to be the government will announce the Film Policy 2017.
Marriyam expressed her hope that the production of high standard movies will soon start.
