Humaira Arshad terms meeting with Noor Jehan 'asset of life'
Humaira said that Noor Jehan was so kind that she always took me as her child.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistani singer Humaira Arshad has said that meeting with Noor Jehan was asset of her life.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Humaira Arshad said that she got the fame due to the songs of Noor Jehan.
"When Noor Jehan was alive, she offered me to learn music from her but I made up my mind to come under Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s supervision, she added.
Talking about the love and affection of the legendary singer, Humaira said that ‘Madam’ was so kind that she always took me as her child.
She said that those who are trying to sing like such legends are not copying them but actually giving them tribute.
