(Web Desk) – With Alia Bhatt’s birthday coming up, here is what Varun Dhawan, her ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ co-star wants to gift her on the big day.
In a press interaction earlier this week, ‘Mein Tera Hero’ star said that there would be no better gift for Alia on her birthday than their upcoming film being a hit and showered with audience’s love.
Besides that, he said that he surely would buy something special for the youngest of Bhatts and his friend.
“The success of our film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. That will be the biggest gift for both of us. Apart from that, I will definitely gift her something on her birthday,” Dhawan said.
On the other hand, while answering a journalist, Alia said: “I haven’t planned anything on my birthday. I want to eat cheese balls on my birthday.”
The upcoming film of the two titled ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is loosely a sequel to ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’.
Alia was launched in the industry by Karan Johar with his directorial venture titled Student of the Year in 2012. Johar has narrated in numerous interviews how Bhatt was chosen for the role.
KJo said that Alia was a fat kid and the first thing he demanded off her was to drop those Kgs. He said that Bhatt came back to see him three months down the line and was perfect for the part.
