KARACHI (Dunya News) – Multi-talented media personality Nadia Hussain has said that fashion shows and catwalks are playing an important role in promoting soft image of Pakistan in the world.
She says that fashion and beauty industry is boosting with national and foreign brands.
Nadia was talking exclusively with Daily Dunya on the occasion of 7th Style Runway Fashion Show in a local hotel of Karachi.
Models walked the ramp while wearing bridal and party dresses designed by renowned fashion designers who include Rizwan Tabassum, Shahid Khan, Tehseen Naseem, Irfan Agha, Sofia Haider, Naveed Ahmad, Fozan Khan and Almas Hameerani.
Show organizer Zia Zafar said that fashion industry has became a significant part of the country’s economy.
He revealed that they are preparing for fashion shows in Dubai and London in June 2017.
Zia says that if Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) cooperates with them, they will introduce Pakistani fashion in the whole world.
