(Web Desk) – In a post-show press conference on Sunday, Shahrukh Khan commented on Karan Johar’s single parenthood.
Shahrukh Khan walked the ramp with Anushka Sharma for Manish Malhotra and Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan Sumeer 2017 show on Sunday and during the post-show press conference, he commented on KJo’s nascent fatherhood through surrogacy.

“It’s a personal moment. Let’s respect the privacy. Of course we all are very happy. We wish him happiness. It’s still very personal. So, don’t think I am being cagey by not answering about it. I have had this moment in my life so I know how personal it is. So, let’s respect it and leave it at that. We will have love, celebrations, happiness and health later.”
Being in close quarters with KJo and family, Shahrukh’s reaction on birth of Roohi and Yash was attached a lot of importance with by journalists.
Earlier on Sunday in the wee hours, Karan Johar shared on social media that he now was a single father after Yash and Roohi came into his life through surrogacy last month.
‘Roohi’ is a rearrangement of his mother, Hiroo’s name while Yash is the namesake of his late father and revered producer of Indian film industry who founded Dharma Productions, Yash Johar.
Karan’s memoir recently hit the bookstores in which he openly wrote about a possibility of being a single parent.
Shahrukh also had a son through a surrogate mother in 2013, named Abram Khan.
More recently, actor Tusshar Kapoor fathered a son last year.
