Making debut as heroine in 'Raasta' is major success, says model Abeer Rizvi
The film is slated to release on March 23.
KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – Model Abeer Rizvi is going to make her acting debut from Sahir Lodhi’s action packed thriller ‘Raasta’.
She considers it an accomplishment to play the heroine in her debut film.
“I was confused when the role was offered to me. I have tried my best to play the role assigned to me but only the audience will tell about my performance,” she said during the launching ceremony of the film’s songs.
Actress Sana Fakhr was also present in the ceremony. She said that Sahir Lodhi has given courage to new artists through his film.
“We should encourage the efforts of new filmmakers and directors. ‘Raasta’ has given the film industry new artists. The songs have been beautifully produced and shot at stunning locations,” said Sana.
The film also stars Sahir Lodhi, Shamoon Abbasi, Naveed Raza, Aijaz Aslam, Sana Fakhr and former model Saima Azhar.
It is slated to release on March 23.
