(Web Desk) – October 21, 2016 marks the fourth death anniversary of Yash Chopra, the founder of India’s largest production house, Yash Raj Films.

Late Chopra died of dengue before his last directorial film starring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif,  Jab Tak Hai Jaan  released.

Yash Raj Chopra, born on September 27, 1932 is known as the director who helped shape up Amitabh Bachan’s ‘angry young man’ image.

Besides directing films, late Chopra was a script writer and a producer who started his career as an assistant director to I.S. Johar and his elder brother, B.R. Chopra.

He made his directorial debut with Dhool Ka Phool in 1959, which dealt with illegitimacy as its subject. Encouraged by the success of his first two films, Chopra brothers made several successful films in the years that followed.
