KARACHI (Dunya News / APP) – Veteran film actor Nadeem has said that success of national films have taken senior and junior film producers to a new direction as the movies had made a record business.
He said that new actors and actresses can learn much from the evergreen films of legend artists Muhammad Ali, Waheed Murad, Santosh Kumar, Darpan, Habib, Kamal, Sudheer, Sultan Rahi, Shamim Ara, Sabeeha Khanum, Zeba Ali, Shabnam, Rani and others.
While talking to Roznama Dunya, Nadeem pronounced that all the great artists that have passed away cannot be easily forgotten.
He told that he has no intention of making any film at the present moment but he can think of the idea in future when the circumstances are favourable.
He uttered that he made a film ‘Matti Kay Putly’ in the past on the problems faced by the labourers.
He explained that he was pleased when his film was shown in the Moscow Film Festival and acquired much commendation.
The actor said that nowadays such films are difficult to create.
Talking to APP, he has also advised Pakistani film artists ousted from Indian films to busy themselves in Pakistani films with spirit and devotion.
He said Pakistani nation had always paid great respect to foreign artists and never showed hatred towards Indian artists.
But Pakistani artists were never extended respect in return, he added.
The Pakistani artists should not feel any fear and disgrace while performing in local film industry.
