(Web Desk) - On the current escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, several artists from both sides expressed their views regarding ban on films and actors.

Famous Pakistani model and actress Mahira Khan took to her Facebook fan page and urged the people to only stand for peace and love.

She said that she is not a supporter of war and only wishes a life where her child can live without being victimized of terrorism.

Mahira Khan, who is debuting in Bollywood movie Raees, strongly condemned any act of terror and loss of human life no matter which soil it is on.

Due to intensifying Indo-Pak relations, a ban on Pakistani actors in India was called on by many extremist parties while Pakistani cinemas also decided to stop screening of Bollywood films nationwide.

Earlier, Fawad Khan’s scenes in ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ were chopped off by the director after threats from Indian extremists.

The actor was reportedly essaying the role of Indian cricketer and test captain Virat Kohli.

The director Neeraj Pandey had adopted the stance that Fawad’s role has been omitted to prevent Indian extremists’ reaction.
