Mahesh Bhatt, Om Puri oppose ban on Pakistani artists from working in India
They urged that Pakistan and India should end terrorists and not the dialogue.
MUMBAI (Dunya News) - After Salman Khan stepped in for the support of Pakistani artists, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt and actor Om puri have also come forward to join his cause.
Confronting the ban on Pakistani talent in India, Mahesh Bhatt said that few militant elements should not be allowed to decide the future of peace loving nations of both the countries.
He urged that Pakistan and India should end terrorists and not the dialogue.
Om Puri also strongly opposed the ban.
Film director Shyam Benegal said that accusing the Pakistani artists for any incident is wrong.
Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has passed a resolution that bars all Pakistani actors from carrying on with their business commitments in India until normalcy returns.
