The veteran director Kelly Asbury has said that “the film is a radically different take on the Smurfs and their imaginary world, fully computer animated and much closer to the tone and style that creator Peyo initially envisioned.”
The story revolves around the exciting an thrilling journey of Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty in the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.
