Shah Rukh Khan to play dwarf in his next movie
However; the female lead in the movie is yet to be finalised.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan will now be seen in a new avatar in his next movie with “Tanu weds Manu” director Anand L Rai.
The director while talking to Press Trust of India has confirmed that he has casted Khan in his next project in the role of a dwarf, reported Daily News and Analysis India.
"He is a gutsy actor. He always takes challenges. It is a delight to have him in the film. We both have liking for each other. We want to work together and we are on that process. Shah Rukh is a very intelligent man. He makes you feel so important and responsible so it is fun to work with him. He was very happy to hear the story," Rai told PTI.
The movie is based on a romantic story with a decent dose of songs.
"It (story) sounds it is just about dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story. I will be fool if I have Shah Rukh Khan in my film and have no romance and songs," he said.
However; the female lead in the movie is yet to be finalised.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy in the shooting of ‘Raees’ which is due to release on July 3, 2016. The movie also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
