Summary The actor was quizzed for hours about the alleged undervaluation of the KKR company shares.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate about the alleged undervaluation of the shares of the company running his Indian Premier League team, Kolkata Knight Riders, reported Scroll.in.
The actor was quizzed for hours about the alleged undervaluation of the KKR company shares when they were sold in 2008.
The ED also questioned Jay Mehta and his wife actress Juhi Chawla, who are co-owners of the IPL team.
This is the third time Khan has been questioned in the case. Five million shares of Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd were allegedly undervalued when sold to Mehta’s company Sea Islands Investments, in 2008.
If undervalued, it would be a violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act. Khan, however, denied that the shares were undervalued.
