MUMBAI: Salman Khan, who is out on bail after being sentenced to a five-year jail term in the 2002 hit-and-run case, will not be travelling to different cities to promote his forthcoming drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan, reported IANS.

The 49-year-old was seen last week at the launch of special Eid song Aaj ki party from the film, along with director Kabir Khan, composer Pritam Chakraborty and singer Mika Singh.

However, the Dabangg actor will not travel to other cities as his family wants him to spend more time with them.

“Salman will spend this time with his family and will not be a part of the city visits. We are doing video conferencing from Mumbai,” his spokesperson said in a statement.

The story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is about a man discovering love during a journey from India to Pakistan.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which is slated to release on July 17, is Salman’s second film with Kabir after 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger.
