From Shahrukh to King Khan: 23 Golden Years of SRK

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan aka SRK has completed his golden 23 years in Indian film industry. Renowned actor made his TV career debut in 1989 but his first movie was released on 25th June, 1992. ‘Deewana’ was hailed as a big success and he received Filmfare award for Best Debutant.

Shahrukh Khan has featured in 77 movies so far. Some of them were among the finest in Indian cinema’s history. He is among those actors who repeatedly past 100 crore mark at box office. In fact he has done this 5 times overall.

Shahrukh has featured in movies of every genre. Movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil Wale Dulhania Le Jayege, Darr, Dil Tou Pagal Hai, Veer Zaara, Chak De India, Devdas, My Name Is Khan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year were among his biggest hits where he displayed his class as an actor.
