Summary Time is running out to "Come Look at the Freaks."

NEW YORK (AP) -- Producers of the Broadway revival of "Side Show" said Friday that the show will close Jan. 4. It will have failed to last longer than the original, cultish "Side Show" production.

The musical, about a pair of conjoined twins during the vaudeville era, opened this fall at the St. James Theatre, but has struggled at the box office, earning just $483,000 last week from a $1.2 million potential.

The show has been reimagined by Bill Condon and features the songs "I Will Never Leave You" and "Come Look at the Freaks."

The original "Side Show" closed its original three-month Broadway run in 1997, losing $7 million but still garnering four Tony Award nominations.
