Top actors, directors and eminent personalities of Bollywood fraternity showed up during a popular award function in India's western Mumbai city.The evening of 16th Annual Star Screen awards was set ablaze by the glittering stars from Bollywood.Superstar Amitabh Bachchan bagged the award for best actor in male category for his role in the film 'Paa', of a 13-year-old child with progeria, a degenerative disease, whereas, Vidya Balan walked away with the best actor award in the female category.Even actor Abhishek Bachchan, who arrived for the event with his wife Aishwarya Bachchan and mother Jaya Bachchan minus his father Amitabh Bachchan, expressed his excitement before the start of the event.The film of the evening, however, was '3 Idiots', which won the Best Film award and also fetched its director, Rajkumar Hirani, the Best Director award.Lyricist Javed Akhtar was honoured with the Life Time Achievement award for serving Bollywood impeccably over the years.
