Summary Adah Sharma was mistaken for a foreigner in her debut film Vikram Bhatt's 1920.
Not many will be aware that the peaches and cream beauty, Adah Sharma, was mistaken for a foreigner in her debut film, Vikram Bhatt s 1920, so authentic was her portrayal in the hit horror flick!
The unassuming actress though is quick to rebuff the same saying, "I d like to be unrecognizable in each film.
And that doesn t stop with just a change of makeup and hairstyle. I also changed my voice for 1920. My regular voice would be too modern."
Adah returned with another good performance in Phhir, but post that she was busy elsewhere for a while. And when we asked Adah the reason for her long hiatus, she told us, I was committed to some regional films (Telugu), and then there were commercials for a few prominent brands, as you must have seen. But I will soon be returning to the Hindi cinema fold with Jyotin Goel s Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke.
The name Jyotin Goel brought forth the topic to actor Sanjay Dutt, who is also essaying a prominent role in Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke. One just cannot forget that Hhrck aside, Sanju s association with Goel goes as far back as 1987, to the slick flick, Inam Dus Hazar.
When queried Adah about Sanjay s recent court verdict and her thoughts, Adah said, All my prayers and thoughts are with Sanjay Dutt s family. I am quite sure and also hopeful that he will come through/emerge stronger.
We echo Adah s sentiments and look forward to her project with Sanjay Dutt, and wish her all the best for her madcap comedy, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke.
