MUMBAI: Actor Akshay Kumar got a standing ovation from wife Twinkle for his performance in Neeraj Pandey`s ‘Special 26,’ a first in their 12-year-old married life.
Akshay had held a special screening of the heist drama for Twinkle who was so impressed that she couldn`t help but give a standing ovation to her husband.
"It was a first in our 12 years together as a married couple, needless to add, I`m more than just happy about it," said the actor-producer.
Akshay is glad the film is getting rave reviews from critics as well as audiences.
"As an actor, you always want to do something new and I`m extremely glad that the film is receiving good response. The film deserves every bit of it," he added.
