Michael Jackson's long awaited first single, This Is It was delivered to Sony Music UK headquarters under heavy security. Devoted fans waited all night, foregoing sleep, to get their hands on the new CD. This Is It was also the name of his planned comeback shows at London's O2 arena before his sudden death of cardiac arrest in June. The soulful ballad features the backing vocals of his brothers with the words: I never thought that I would be your lover ... This Is It. The track is available on Jackson's website www.michaeljackson.com and fans can buy a two-disc album, also called This Is It, to be released on October 26. The single will also play in the end credits of a new documentary about the singer which will coincide with the release of the album.
