Summary Higher Education Commission is hosting a 3-day workshop for NBEACs evaluators in Islamabad.

A 3-day training workshop for the evaluators of National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) is continuing in Islamabad. The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), Higher Education Commission (HEC) is organizing the workshop for Programme Evaluators/Experts of NBEAC.Dr. Christophe Terrasse, Associate Director (Projects) European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is the resource person for the workshop. Participants of the workshop are senior faculty members of Business Schools/Universities of Pakistan.The workshop is aimed to improve the relevant skills of Programme Evaluators in undertaking accreditation inspection based on prescribed standards, criteria and procedures, establish the credibility of accreditation process among stakeholders as an effective tool for quality improvement, and compare the NBEAC framework of accreditation with international accreditation frameworks and share experiences on best practices for accreditation of business degree programmes and their effectiveness in quality enhancement.The workshop is expected to strengthen the NBEAC’s capabilities to fulfil its mission more effectively. The participants shall perform as Master Trainers to train other experts of NBEAC in the subsequent training workshops.The inaugural session, on Monday, of the workshop was chaired by Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad, Chairman NBEAC. Dr. Khwaja Azam Ali, Managing Director, QAA, Mr. Fida Hussain, Director General, QAA were also present on the occasion.
