Summary Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Tuesday announced results of Commerce (Regular).

The position-holders have dedicated their achievement to teachers as a Teaders’ Day gift.The girls have once again bagged the first and second positions in Inter (Regular). Muhammad Saim, who got the third position, wittingly said that he let the girls take the top two positions.Asifa Aziz bearing roll number 232733, student of DA Degree College for Women, clinched overall first position by obtaining 939 marks out of total 1100 and 85.36 percent.Fazilat Zubair from Institute of Business Education having roll number 232571 bagged second position with 937 marks and 85.18 per cent.Muhammad Saim Mumtaz from Commecs Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences bearing roll number 217308 got third position with 925 marks and 84.09 per cent.The Board also announced results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC), Part-II, Home Economics HSC Part-I and Diploma in Physical Education, Annual Examinations-2011.18, 835 male candidates were registered while 18, 664 students appeared in the annual papers of Commerce (Regular). Of which 9, 329 candidates were declared passed and pass percentage was 49.98 per cent.14, 114 female students registered and 14, 002 candidates appeared in the exams. As many as 8, 582 students were declared passed and pass percentage was 61.29 per cent.At least 33 male candidates received A-One grade, 473 students had ‘A’ grade and 1, 379 candidates got B grade in the exams.Meanwhile, 3, 259 students passed their exams with ‘C’ grade, 3, 786 obtained ‘D’ grade and 399 candidates passed with E grade.58 female students obtained A-One grade, 867 candidates had ‘A’ grade in their exams. Moreover, 2, 326 students received ‘B’ grade, 3, 331 candidates passed their exams with ‘C’ grade and 1, 900 students and 100 candidates had D and E grade respectively.Home Economics Part-I results show that 290 students were registered and 266 candidates appeared in the exams. Of which 126 students passed all seven papers. Furthermore, 22 candidates were registered for the annual exams of Diploma in Physical Education and 17 were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 77.27 per cent.
