LHC moved against appointment of PU VC

The LHC admitted a petition for hearing filed against appointment of PU Vice Chancellor.

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed initiated hearing of the case.The counsel for the petitioner told the court that Mujahid Kamran has been reappointed Vice Chancellor of the Punjab University after the retirement that is violation of the rules. The petitioner prayed to the court to suspend Kamran’s appointment as VC Punjab University.The court admitted the petition and for hearing and directed the Punjab government and Higher Education Commission to submit the written reply on April 3.
