Policeman gunned down in Karachi

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A policeman was shot dead in a Malir area as police suspected that it was a targeted killing, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.

The deceased cop was identified as Matero Khan. Malir SSP Abdul Khaliq Pirzada said the law enforcer was gunned down by two persons riding 125-Honda. He said it was a targeted killing.

Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the murder and ordered police to track down the assailants at the earliest.

Police have started investigation with recording statements from eyewitnesses and collecting forensic evidence from the crime scene.
