BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – Police claim that two suspected robbers were killed in firing of their accomplices near Baba Farid Pull, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the armed men were attacked when they were taken in police custody to arrest their other accomplices wanted in heinous crimes.
As a result of their firing, the under-custody suspects were killed whereas the killers after the firing sped off by two motorbikes.
Police said the deceased were wanted in dozens of cases of robbery, kidnap for ransom and murder cases.
Arms, stolen valuables and cash were seized from them. Police started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital.
A manhunt has been launched for the arrest of the fleeing robbers.
