Two robbers arrested after 'encounters' with police in Karachi

Their four accomplices escaped
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested two robbers after encounters with them in two separate incidents here on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
In the first incident in Zaman Town, police were informed that a burglar was hiding in the area and planning to loot valuables and cash from people.
The law enforcers rushed to the hiding place of the outlaw, who on seeing police approaching to him started firing.
Police retaliated in an effective manner. As a result, the outlaw was injured and later arrested by the police.
Mobile phones, looted valuables and a pistol were seized. Police started investigation after sending the injured to hospital.
In another incident in Sakhar, police were informed that five robbers looted valuables from people and escaped.
Police chased them. To see the police running after them, they opened fire on the police.
Police returned their fire. As a result a robber was injured whereas his four accomplices fled.
Police recovered looted valuables and arms from the injured robber and started a man hunt for the arrest of their fleeing accomplices.
