SHUJAABAD (Dunya News) - Citizens captured two robbers who attempted to steal cattle in Shujaabad's Raja Ram locality on Thursday.
One of the robbers was beaten up by locals of the area. Witnesses told police that four robbers approached a property to lift cattle at gunpoint.
Some locals resisted the robbery attempt upon which the suspects opened fire. The firing left two cattle dead. The confrontation between the locals and the suspects eventually led to the capturing of two armed suspects. Two others, however, managed to escape.
One of the robbers captured by locals was given a sound thrashing and was later shifted to the Civil hospital by police.
The Raja Ram police have launched invetsigation.
