Accomplice arrested after being injured
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An alleged robber was killed in a crossfire with police whereas his accomplice was arrested after being injured in the encounter in Mianwali Colony.
The Pirabad police were informed that two robbers were looting valuables from passersby on a road. A police team scrambled to the crime scene to rescue the citizens.
Seeing the police approaching them, the armed men opened indiscriminate fire.
The raiding team responded effectively and killed a robber and injured the other. They arrested the injured man.
The suspects were identified as Umer, who was killed, and Abdullah who was arrested injured.
Arms, ammunition, two mobile phones and a purse were recovered from their custody. The motorcycle they used was also confiscated.
