LAHORE (Dunya News) - Three suspects were killed during an alleged encounter between CIA and the shooters in Chohang area of the provincial capital.
According to CIA Iqbal town, the suspects were being taken to identify and trace their aides when their partners opened fire on the police party near Chohang.
Police claimed that after being fired upon the police party also opened fired, and as a result of exchange of fire the suspects under custody identified as Kashan, Yousuf, and Ahmed were killed by the firing of their own partners.
Police said that all three dead shooters were associated with the Shahbaz gang. The attacking party took advantage of the darkness and escaped the scene and a search operation has been launched to trace them out.
