CTD arrests suspect involved in police official's murder
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday arrested the suspect involved in the murder of a policeman in Karachi.
According to details, the CTD arrested the accused Gulzar Ali involved in the murder of police officer Nihal while conducting an operation on the Mauripur road area of Karachi. Weapons were also recovered from the possession of arrested suspect.
According to CTD officials, the accused had stolen Rs 4 lakh from a citizen who had brought the amount from a bank in Pak Colony two days ago.
Officials further said that Shaheen Force personnel Nihal and civilian Shakeel were killed in firing by the accused. The search for other accomplices of the arrested accused is also underway, added officials.
