Afghan held with fake passport at Peshawar airport
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested an Afghan citizen who was going abroad on a fake Afghan passport while conducting an operation at Peshawar Airport on Thursday.
During the operation in Mardan, the accused involved in hand selling was arrested. According to FIA, the operation was conducted at Bacha Khan Airport, during which an Afghan citizen travelling abroad on a fake Afghan passport and involved in hand selling was arrested. The Afghan national was travelling to the UK on a private airline flight.
More than Rs1 million in cash and other documents were also recovered from the accused, against whom the FIA has filed a case and begun a further investigation.
