Man killed after allegedly being set on fire by in-laws
CHINIOT (Dunya News) – In-laws allegedly doused a man with petrol and set him on fire in the area of Police station Rajoa in Chiniot.
According to details, the victim went to his in-laws to meet with his disgruntled wife when the tragic incident took place. Afterwards, he was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, DPO Chiniot Asad-ur-Rehman has taken notice of the incident and a case has also been registered.
The DPO further formed a special team under the supervision of DSP City to investigate the incident. The provision of justice will be ensured while fulfilling the legal requirements, he said.
