Lahore: Two policemen martyred during encounter
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Two policemen were martyred during a police encounter in Lahore’s Manga Mandi.
A case has been registered at Manga Mandi police station on the complaint of Station House Officer (SHO).
During a chase police exchanged fire with the robbers, two police personnel were martyred while robbers managed to escape.
According to the text of the FIR, the martyred constables were identified as Ibad Ali Dogar and Adil Shah.
According to Lahore CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, Adil Shah was shot in the chest and Ibad in the head. Ibad Ali is a resident of Wah Kharan while Adil Shah is a resident of Mohalnawal.
On the notice of DIG Operations Lahore Sohail Chaudhry, Lahore Police has launched a massive search operation to nab the escaped robbers.
