Sindh govt decides to launch operation against criminals in Kacha area
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The provincial government has decided to launch a grand operation to crack down on criminal elements in Kacha area in view of deteriorating law and order situation in Sindh.
According to sources, a detailed briefing was given to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah by the police officials on this important issue. Police officials also requested for heavy machinery and modern weapons for the grand operation.
The chief minister was also briefed on the funds for the police personnel who will take part in the operation. The operation will be conducted in Shikarpur, Ghotki, Kashmore and Sukkur areas.
According to police sources, the Sindh chief minister has been requested to provide three new armored vehicles and modern weapons within 24 hours while the government should also provide secret modern equipment to the police.
