Hareem Fatima murder: Woman confesses to killing four-year-old in Kohat
KOHAT (Dunya News) - A woman arrested in connection with the murder of four-year-old Hareem Fatima in Kohat, confessed to killing minor girl. Forensic tests have disproved the medical report of sexual abuse.
During investigation accused Rabia confessed to killing Hareem fatima to take revenge from her father for obstructing her marriage with his brother.
The body of four-year-old Hareem Fatima, a resident of Khattak Colony, Kohat, was found two weeks ago. Police, with the help of CCTV footage, detained more than 100 people, including Rabia, a neighbor of the minor girl.
Kohat DPO Sohail Khalid in a press conference said that the detained woman named Rabia confessed to the murder and said that she wanted to marry Hareem Fatima s uncle but the girl s father was an obstacle in the marriage. She was saddened and took revenge by killing the girl.
The DPO said that the forensic report did not prove sexual assault and the accused admitted that the police had interrogated more than 100 people and she is the real killer.
