Liaquatpur: Man confesses to killing his wife
LIAQUATPUR (Dunya News) - A man has confessed to killing his wife while she was sleeping in Liaquatpur an area of Rahim Yar Khan.
According to details, in the suburbs of Hakimabad, a housewife was killed 10 days ago at midnight and her husband had claimed that she was killed while resisting a robbery.
A team under the supervision of DSP Ghulam Dastgir Khan launched an investigation. On suspicion, police arrested Kashif Shaheen, husband of female teacher Nafisa Mahmood who was killed in the incident. The victim s husband Kashif Shaheen confessed to the murder.
The accused revealed that he shot his wife in the head while she was sleeping. Police also recovered the murder weapon on the identification of the accused.
