ANF destroys seized drugs, liquor bottles in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) in a drug burning event held in Karachi burned seized drugs and destroyed foreign brand liquor bottles.
DG ANF Major General Muhammad Arif Malik was the chief guest at the event held at Rangers Shooting Range on Karachi Super Highway.
In 2020, the Anti-Narcotics Force seized drugs worth $1.65 million. ANF seized 1452 bottles of foreign brand liquor. Drugs were burned while foreign liquor was destroyed.
DG ANF Major General Muhammad Arif Malik said that ANF is a force of 3,800 personnel. In the last two or three years, ANF seized most drugs in the world.
He said that it was not possible to control drugs without the help of society. Drugs have reached the elite class, even in universities adding that the drug money is used in every crime, including terrorism.
