FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Police investigations have revealed that the accused Ali Akbar alias Russian Don arrested for harassing citizens at gunpoint in Faisalabad was involved in several cases of robbery and attempted murder. Police have taken physical remand of the accused and started the investigation.
According to details, police arrested the accused Ali Akbar alias ‘Russian Don’ after the video of harassing citizens at gun point in Islamnagar area of Civil Line police station in Faisalabad emerged. During the investigation, the accused confessed to several robberies and attempted murders.
Police also dug up near residential flats in Islamnagar area and recovered weapons used in the robberies.
Police have registered more cases against the accused and expanded the scope of investigation.
