Police arrests suspect in rape, murder of minor girl in Charsadda
Multiple torture marks were also found on the body of the minor.
CHARSADDA (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakthunkhwa (KP) police has arrested a man who abducted, raped and killed two and half year old girl, the sources said on Saturday.
According to sources, the arrested man, who is around 45 to 50 years old, has also confessed his crime of abducting, raping and killing the child named Zainab.
Sources further said that police, with the information provided by the suspect, have also recovered murder weapon and shoe of the victim.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan took notice of the incident and expressed disappointment over the incident.
The medical test revealed that the girl was raped after which her stomach was stabbed with a sharp weapon that caused her death.
Multiple torture marks were also found on the body of the minor.
