Court grants bail to six accused in KU harassment case
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A local court on Friday granted bail to six young boys accused of harassing students at Karachi University. The court ordered the accused to deposit Rs 20,000 each.
During the hearing of the case, six accused criminals were produced in court by the police. The court granted bail to Faizan, Hamad Ali, Zawar, Abdul Rehman, Umair and Zakir against bonds of Rs 20,000 each.
The defendant’s lawyer said that the FIR and request of remand by police is not valid. The student hostels close at 7 pm and the accused are all underage, he added.
