Man and woman murdered in separate incidents in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Two people were killed in seperate incidents in the provincial capital Lahore on Friday.
According to details, one incident took place in Basti Haider Shah area of Chowhang Chowki Sher Shah police station in Lahore. As a result of the firing, a woman was killed on the spot while another was seriously injured.
According to police, the dead woman was identified as 35-year-old Fazilat Bibi, while the injured woman was identified as 23-year-old Jamila Bibi, who was shot in the arm. Investigation into the incident has been started.
Police said that the accused, Qari Zulfiqar, is the brother of Fazilat bibi and fled the scene after committing the murder. The injured woman Jamila Bibi was shifted to Lahore Jinnah Hospital in critical condition while the body of the deceased was taken into custody.
In another shooting that took place in Green Town, one person named Ghaffar was murdered.
Police said that the victim was shot three times while the accused fled the scene after the incident. The body has been shifted to the morgue.
