Women files for divorce after husband stopped her to chat on social media

LAHORE (Web Desk) - In the family court of the provincial capital Lahore, the wife filed a divorce suit after being stopped from chatting on social media by her husband.

According to details, Family Judge Faraz Javed Warraich heard the application for khula degree. The court issued notice to the woman s husband seeking a final reply.

Petitioner Kunza Ijaz, while filing for divorce from her husband, said that my husband prevents me from video chatting on social media.

She said that I earn more than Rs 1,500 per day on Bego Video Call Point. My husband s earnings barely support the family.

The husband of the woman took the position that he is a rickshaw driver and he earns his living by working hard, while his wife talks to other men on social media.

Her husband said that when he tried to stop her she refused and filed a divorce petition in the court.
