Honor Killings: 131 persons killed in Sindh during 2019
In one year, 1074 people were murdered
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to Sindh Human Rights Department 131 people were killed for ‘honor’ in Sindh in during 2019.
In one year, 1074 people were murdered including 150 killed in tribal and personal enmities.
According to Sindh Human Rights Department, 131 people became victim of honor killing, 25 women died due to domestic violence, 13 children died in various robberies and 146 cases of rape were reported.
According to report, 75 women, 61 boys and 10 underage boys were raped. 74 women, 30 men and 5 children were kidnapped or went missing and 442 people committed suicide in 2019.
