Rawalpindi: Three injured, two policemen killed in firing incident
Firing killed Head Constable Muhammad Ali and Constable Saeed Ahmed
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Two policemen were shot dead in Sadar locality of Rawalpindi.
According to sources shots were fired at Muhafiz Patrolling Squad in Sadar area of Rawalpindi. Firing killed Head Constable Muhammad Ali and Constable Saeed Ahmed.
When Dolphin force personals reached place of incident, criminal opened fire and injured three including Hassan Akram of Dolphin force and a woman. Police killed the criminal in return fire.
On the receiving the news of the incident, RPO Rawalpindi Sohail Habib Tajik, CCPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas, SSP Operations, SSP Investigation and SP Pothohar reached the place of incident.
Injured Hassan and others were shifted to hospital for medical treatment and police increased security in the city after the incident.
