MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – A man set a 16-year-old girl on fire by pouring petrol on her after she refused his marriage proposal, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
The incident occurred in Bet Mir Hazar Khan, District Muzaffargarh. The girl namely Misbah has been shifted to burn unit in critical condition as she suffered severe burns to her face, body and arms.
It has been reported that the suspect – Yousuf – burnt the girl after entering her house and left a letter afterwards threatening to murder her.
A case has been filed at Bet Mir Hazar Khan police station against Yousuf and his unknown accomplice. The suspects have been charged with attempted murder. The letter has also been handed over to the police.
