Punjab Food Authority seizes 4300kg unhygienic meat in Lahore's Bakar Mandi.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Thursday seized 4,300kg unhygienic meat and sealed three illegal slaughterhouses in the Bakar Mandi of Lahore.
The germ-infested meat was destroyed and case was registered against three suspects. The slaughterhouses were sealed earlier by the food authority which started working again illegally with fake stamps.
8,000kg animal remains were also recovered from the slaughterhouses. DG food authority urged all citizens to immediately inform the department about the harmful meat if they see any.
